Description
As I promised, here it is.This is my first tutorial AND my first PDF. Also, it's my first time using Open Office for something other than a word processor.
So it took me awhile lol
Things to know:
This is an Apophysis 2.08 beta 2 Tutorial.
You will need the Synth Plugin that is not included in the original download file of Apo but you can find it in the Aposhack Plugin Pack
For those who learn better from a flame file, I included the original flame file for The Beginnings . You will probably need to change the gradient. If you desire, tweak away!
This is not a tutorial for the fainthearted! You must have some basic knowledge of the Apophysis interface.

Wasn't it you I was having the conversation with over Windows 7? I think it was.... but I'm not sure. My memory is terrible!!! LOL! It was either you or Amorina but I can't remember for sure which one. Anyway.... if it was you, how did you become a beta tester for Win 7? I saw on their blog that it said it was by invitation only and I couldn't find anymore info on it. I did see, by the way, that the Win 7 upgrade is being given free to not only beta testers but also to other Vista users who bought their computer after July 26 (?) and bought specific types of computers, which really ticks me off since I bought mine back in November 08! ggrrrr!!! They had better still support Vista for a good long while or I'm going to be really pissed off!!!

If you want to download it you will have to do it before August 20th 2009. After that they're closing the free downloads.
I hope they support it for awhile too for your sake (or at least let you get Win 7 upgrade for free)

uhm... Thanks, but... that's not exactly what I asked. I was asking how you became a *beta tester*. It says that it's "by invitation only" on the blog. So I was wondering how you got in on that beta testing.... how you knew about it before it went to the RC stage. It's in the RC stage now already though... beta testing is over.... so if I download the RC, I don't think they would let me have a copy in 2010 when the real thing hits the shelves.... at least not for free. The beta testers are the ones getting it free and the small group of people who bought their machines within a certain time frame but the RC people apparently don't qualify. I would have to go back to Vista anyway at that time since I can't afford to buy it. So it doesn't make sense to download it. I was wanting to know how to get the inside info on this stuff though so that I know about things sooner and can get in on the good deals.

I got the RC, not the beta. IT professionals usually get preference on beta testing. I usually go here [link] when I want some inside scoop. It's on all types of things though, not just windows stuff. They've been pretty reliable so far, and they have links to other tech blog sites too.

LOL! They had an article on there that was talking about widespread panic when Twitter was down. Geez!! Some people need to get a life and learn to use other modes of communication besides Twitter! LOL!
I don't even belong to Twitter although I've been invited by a Facebook friend. I didn't even keep up with my Facebook status so I saw no need to join Twitter just so that I could fail to update that status too!

yes it was all an attack on this one person to try to totally shut him out from communicating with anyone. The people overloaded the systems and jammed the communication lines so that nobody could use it just so this one person wouldn't be able to send out any info. What some people won't do, huh?

Omigod ... this would probably be super useful, because I love these fracrals.. I've seen some Iwona made, and those are also charming.. if only I ever did something usable in Apo

Truly excellent tuto, I will recommend it to everybody
Straight forward and it has good good lessons about post transforming,
and color symmetry and xaos ....and weights of xfroms

its very good! i was expecting something so more complicated...but it seems that the only complex thing is being able to see the outcome before actually doing it. i had never used pre blur before. looks good. but the fact that amazed me the most was the low number of transforms involved and how much the PX changes in the fractal. i had only used it to rotate the fractal never actually changed its X/Y/O numbers.
After reading the tutorial i can honestly say that you did a very good job. looking forward to your next submissions.
