First Officer Angel Shen Li, 30, of the Crimson Star
Aka Angel, she’s in the mould of Captain Delaqruze though a little more polished. Former Paramilitary Police, Angelina has many years of experience both as a Pilot and a Marksman.
Many men are driven crazy by her fresh angelic face, slender body and long raven hair. This, unfortunately, causes them to underestimate her combat abilities to their detriment!
It was after she turned five that her mother died. Her Police Officer father, Shen Long, changed after the mother’s death. Father and daughter then started having a difficult relationship. Angelina felt she was never good enough for her father, and she could not find a way to appease him.
She studied martial arts under him and he was hard on her during training. Angelina often felt she was living under her father’s shadow.
One day, she suddenly retaliated against her father and left home, wanting to experience a carefree life. It left her father, Shen Long, stunned and disheartened.
Though Angelina and Sybill are close now, it wasn’t so when they first met. The Military/ Police rivalry and heavy drinking got the better of them at a dingy bar, starting with verbal exchanges, then punches being thrown and ending up with cuts and bruises.
At age 25, Angelina left the Paramilitary Police Force but she still has some contacts in there. On occasions, her contacts do call in favours when investigating difficult cases not within their jurisdiction. The relationship works both ways.
FYI - she is sporting red hair now.
