Description
This is my contest entry forThe contest was you had to take one of the other Sailor Scouts and make them the main character. I decided to make Sailor Mars ( Rei Hino) the main character and I wanted to focus the entire thing around her. So, I decided to use characters that would be more involved in the series if she was the main character. Not only that, but I also wanted to combined the fact that she is the Senshi of War and she is also a Priestess in the picture.
So from left to right the characters are: Phobos(In human form), Sailor Mars (Rei Hino) Jadeite, and Deimos(In human form). For those of you who don't Phobos and Deimos are the two crows that are always around Rei. They only take a hman form in the manga.
I had a lot of fun with picture and I really hope you guys like it! ^^

It's a nice group picture. Very visually balanced and interesting. My only critique is Sailor Mars holding the sword. I really can't see anyone holding a sword like that it's sort of awkward. Any sword that big would be pretty heavy, you wouldn't be able to hold it with just your last 3 fingers. Your thumb would be needed to grip it. Also, pointing the sword behind your head? I think it would look more natural pointing the other way, or maybe for this picture straight up would be best. If you have a broom or stick around, try playing with it and snapping pictures. That will help you come up with more realistic poses. It really works, I do it all the time ^^

I know the way Sailor Mars is holding the sword isn't right, but I like the way it looked so I just left how it was.

I'm liking Jadeite's sword. Maybe he wouldn't be an idiot in this version? (Like he is in the anime. >_>
