Hands are very difficult to draw, I have a lot of trouble with them (although feet are harder, I think!)

I use photo reference a lot to help with hand poses, you should try it. There are a lot of pics on DA here especially to help artists pose hands, have a look; [link]

It may be a lazy shortcut, but hiding the hands make them simpler to draw. I don't always do that, but it helps sometimes.

It all depends also what the character is supposed to do. If it requires the hands to be visible, you can't really hide them.

Anyhow, another awesome work!
