Good job. I like your ship design as you created these as old generation in your intention.Β Β

Wow, I immediately thought: Last Exile! Glad to see that I'm not the only one refering to it in the comments.
I'm never tired of watching your works.
I quite like aerial battleships myself but I'm more of a (lame) 3d guy, do you model your ships before you draw them, or do you draw them directly ?

Thanks a lot.
I draw directly, I create 3d models in my brain then draw them down.

Thanks.
To tell the truth I never studied drawing in my life. All things I did is just enjoy drawing through my life.
I read encyclopedia, watch movies, search picture on google, see someone's drawing, go historical place and visit another countries.... these massive experiences exploded on my hobby, drawing.
I am not art student so I can't give you critical advice but I am sure that important thing is enjoy and keep drawing!
OK, I will write some comment about your art when I got time! Like I said I enjoy seeing people's art, no problem.

Yeah. Traditionally the term 'a line of battle' from the age of sail, that's where the term battleship in English (and I think other European languages?) comes from. A ship of the line of battle. Although these are cruisers so what do I know

Absolute awesomeness My only complaint is that I think the Felixen would cause a larger explosion in its death. All of yet to be fired ammo...

Seems like the Ad-Dabaran-class' is used for aerial bombardment of ground targets. The 'Talion' has nearly as many guns (and big ones) pointing down as she does pointing outwards. That seems like a pretty logical use for a heavy cruiser that is airborne.

submarine cruising in the clouds.... YESSSSSS!!!b
thanks, I may create new ship of aerial submarine.

hexicateonline In reply to AoiWaffle0608 [2013-07-17 07:57:49 +0000 UTC]
A submarine's purpose is essentially stealth, so some kind of ship that can lurk out of sight in the clouds (maybe hiding in storms?) would be really cool.
