The story is categorized in Science Fiction or Fantasy.
In the story there is no habitable land on the earth and the flying continent is a last place for human.
Their degree of civilization is around steam-age.

They are not fighting each other and spending peaceful life. but there is a unavoidable rule. Every young people must to sacrifice their heart to witch because she uses their heart to let the continent keep flying. After giving their heart, they equip mechanical heart (I think you've already saw it!).
A main character also needed to give his heart to her, but he is a son of doctor. And the drama will begin between he and the witch. (not battle!)

I didn't make the script and I don't know much about the story such as ending because script has directer in Tokyo. Anyway the anime will be published in July, you can see it on Youtube!
