Ah. Where I live in the States, the only rails we have around our area are freight rails, and most of the cargo that's carried on them comes from the marble mines in the north. I think there's an Amtrak station in Atlanta, but I've rarely been to the city myself and have not seen any Amtraks come through.

Hmm...of a sort, I would suppose. Along with the ore cars from the mines, I see a lot of cargo containers, the type one sees loaded onto ships. The biggest, and as far as I know, the only port city in Georgia is Savannah, which sees a lot of ship traffic, so its highly likely the freight line is part of a land bridge.
