Indeed I must disagree. It is when the rings are off that Shadow's full potential is unlocked, it is as the same for our man Sonic who goes through the same development when he finds it in himself to buckle down and drop the fun and games. Indeed, the rings provide not an extra power boost, but a even playing field.

This picture is so good! This shows how Sonic and Shadow are during Adventure 2 and the end fight. This also says alot about their relationship. Sonic and Shadow dont get along like friends and they will beat each other down if needed.ย
