Well my boyfriends Dad is an alcoholic and he is also a compulsive gambler. His father gambled away all of the money that they had in their savings and everything, twice. And when I saw this, to me, it either was:
1. Dice in vodka. And since the dice are drowning, it's kind of like, adding insult to your own self injury. (From the Dad's pov. Just summarizing how bad habits can add onto themselves)
2. Dice in water. To show excuses and how water is supposedly pure, but sometimes even when you try to shake things off and make excuses and try to get better from your addictions, it still doesn't make the habit disappear. (Family's pov. Showing how they tried, but it still ends up not fixing itself no matter what medicine you sugar coat it with)
3. Just someone throwing dice into water, kind of symbolizing my friend being done with his father and how his fathers addiction tainted their pure (water) family.(Boyfriends and his mothers point of view. Because she finally divorced him)
