Last week, I was passing by this pile of garbage when I noticed a couple of old toys scattered nearby. I found this McDonalds LPS squirrel ( sta.sh/01cnqj4s5g5r) and two others which will be future customs to do another day. She was so dirty when I found her and was also covered in stickers; so the before pic was taken after I cleaned her up.

She was also one of the first projects where I used acrylic gesso before painting. So far I'm liking the texture the gesso creates, it defintiely feels like the paint will hold onto the surface a lot better than without the gesso. For my first attempt at customizing an LPS, I'd say it wasn't a bad attempt. I also recommend that if you want to customize a figurine yourself, a McDonalds toy could be a good starting point seeing that they're common as leaves.
