I like the black+white+1 colors, and the view-zoom-view double-appearances of the crosswalk (or "crawswalk" as I seem to want to type it) and hotel marquee (or "marquis" if my typeos had their way).
& wafting smoke or steam always help make a captured instant seem more ephemeral.

I was experimenting on how u can see common images (road, people, your room) in another way..

I think showing little moments around people is an involving way to create both setting/mood and a sense of reader identification with the person and their surroundings.
Then again, I probably take it too far in how I use it (every few seconds gets its own panel, so the "camera" wobbles around like a drunken housefly to capture more/different/interesting angles of what's around them).
