Oh my, I'm really crazy about Koruseea (Corsair) manga. Well, it's quite cruel and sad but so intresting and art is tremendous! The characters are very attractive. The drama CD is even better because it still continues but the manga doesn't. There are 9 parts and a spin-off in the drama CD and manga is based on the first 2 parts and the others aren't included. The seiyuu are awesome too. They're Morikawa Toshiyuki, Suzuki Chihiro, Miki Shinichiro, Koyasu Takehito. Aren't they great? I'm looking forward to the release of the 10th part.I spent 4 days and 8 nights painting this picture. Luckily we had a 4-day national holiday.

I am a die hard Corsair fan. I finished the series a while back; but seeing this picture reminds me of why it was on my list of best yaoi's. You did an excellent job creating this. Thank you so much!! ^_^
Oh, and I am not trying to cause any trouble or anything, but I remember on the covers of the books Ayace's hair being a dark purple/blue?

And yes Sesaam hair is purple. But if you noticed on all of the covers of the Corsair volumes that Ayace's hair is sort of a really really dark purple or what you could call blue( I can't really determine which one. But it;s either one of those). But in all honesty I love this picture and I envy your artistic skills( I can only draw sick figures

Yes, there is a drama CD, which is voiced by tremendous seiyuu! You can download it on aarinfantasy site. There are 9 parts + Corsair Eigetsu and Aura's story. The first 2 drama CDs are the same as the manga and becides them there are 3 other stories based on Corsair light novels. So their story continues and the 9th CD isn't the end either, but I don't know when the 10th CD will be released.

You definitely should listen to it. The only thing I don't like about the drama CD is that it doesn't focus on Yani and Sesaam's relationship.

As for me, I've already listened to it 3 or 4 times, but I really enjoyed it and I wrote down and learned a lot of new words.
It really sucks, which is why I've just started reading the novel, but it's not easy at all. I think it'll take me ages.

I have always found reading Japanese harder rather than speaking it :/ I am a beginner at speaking and reading Japanese. Hopefully I will get the hang of it so I can understand CD and the novels more

Well, listening was ok, of course I can't say that I understood everything, but in general I could understand what was happening there. As for the novel, I started it 2 days ago and it's really difficult. It rakes so much time to find kanji and sometimes I just can't find some of them. If only there was furigana, it would be much easier. The problem is that we haven't studied kanji for about a year. We used to do it before, but then the Japanece Centre changed the programme and now we are mainly taught to speak, so we make presentation and write compositions but do not study grammar and kanji. In addition I already forgot the kanji I knew before, so it's really frustrating to read the novel. I don't know what to do but I don't want to give up. Usually when you study a foreign language reading is much easier than listening, but it's vice versa with Japanese.

Oh, I'm so glad, I thought I was the only Corsair fan here. I'm also crazy about the manga but I wonder why they don't want to continue it. The other 3 stories are so interesting too. I hope the 10th part of the drama CD will be released soon. Sometimes I can't understand Kanare, it seems that he just likes causing Ayasu problems.

tbh not too crazy about the main couple, even if C-dawgg is really cute and pretty. He cries too much for my liking, despite being a badass with swords.

You know, what I don't like about Kanare is that he tried to kill Sesaam, the only person who loved him, and his words, "If I don't do it, Sharq will send another assassin," can't be an excuse to kill the person you love. But on the other hand, his life was so hard and he was only 16 then. I do feel sorry for him. He could be really happy with Sesaam but he had to kill him. I can't imagine anything worse than this situation.

I completely agree that Yani is better for Sesaam but I don't think he really loves Yani, which is a shame. I hope later Sesaam'll love him, because Yani is worth of his love, he has cared about him for so long although his love is nonreciprocal. I really admire Yani.

I think Sesaam truly loves Yani. He's just tsundere as fuq and doesn't really know how to approach love because of the weird way he was brought up. (like srsly who locks their 7 year old in a room to memorizes a 1000000 page script??!! LOL) You have to remember that both of them are politicians and that Pisare is their # 1 priority.
If you've ever read Koisuru Boukun, Yani and Sesaam's relationship is a more tame version of it.

Unfortunately, the manga is too short, in fact there are much more volumes in Corsair light novel and drama cd. If you understand Japanese, you may read or listen to them.
