Calum and his son; Duncan~ I might make Duncan represent a Scottish region later on, who knows? But he's only small here.Here's me trying to deviate from ruddy anime style and come up with something that suits me.

Wow, this is awesome! I really like your design for him and the idea of a kid.
I know others in the fandom have had similar ideas. Some people makes OCs for his islands Shetland and Orkney and the Hebrides and one writer I know has written some amazing (and really sad) stories about her OC of the Scottish colony of Darien.
