in my playthrough of portal 2 with commentary GLaDOS's body was designed to coil up into another ring to disguise herself
and she was going to uncoil when she powered up again but they undid that but they left her body like that

I think they rushed the commentary to get the game out on time, after all, in February the game didn't have an ending. But in the downloadable content, I think they will add some commentary nodes for us to geek out over.
