Exactly! This was a great and cute anime, with that stuff on how they were actually being experimented on, and the stuff with the Rebels and more. Plus that ending with the Last Boss Fight against Hyper K was wicked awesome!
A friend of mine though, metalsonic612 thinks I'm a hypocrite for liking this anime, but not Darling in the Franxx. Why? Because this one, unlike Franxx, is actually cute and doesn't have downright wrong stuff like Teen Pregnancy, and has way cooler action too?
Though I like Lilith Bristol better than Julie. Lilith is so much cuter and cooler, especially when she took on all those Level 3 Exceeds by herself (although she did have a big advantage since they all had melee Blazes while she had a gun Blaze). Plus she's a lot cuter than Julie.
Still, Julie is second cutest out of all of them, and I love it when Tor gives her cute headpats. She looks so cuddly there!

Well pretty much the same happened to me with Franxx (it getting boring). I dunno why but I wasn't as bored with Absolute Duo, probably because of the cuteness.
Also, there was stuff like that "Boys vs Girls" episode too.
