Description
I did some new post processing on this photograph. The older version is a bit colourless and lacks of contrast. Here it is for comparison: [link]Thanks to Martin "struller" Amm for giving advice on post processing methods!
Have a look at the old one and tell me what you think about the post processing.

Breathtaking! You must have been lucky to have a camera just at the right moment.
It reminds me of a giant bubble over the land.

There was a rainbow just like this one in my town yesterday. Pitty I don't have camera with wide lenses, so I could only capture it in parts...maybe I'll post some of the photos...

DARN IT.
I posted a rainbow pic last week and it looks like fail next to this one
Great picture though, honestly! .____. no offense, but the other one looks more realistic to me. I love the colours of this one though They're so much brighter!

Mind me asking...how you got it that wide? =x
is it a technique or the camera or..?
i saw a full semi circle rainbow not too long ago... and i couldnt fit it all in...
That and i guess my megapixels[if im using the right term here?] dont go THAT wide..

I like the softness of the clouds, this is where your version is better and I think I'll give it a try with the RAW files. However, in the foreground, too much details got lost.
Thanks for your proposal.

That's beautiful. I really like how the vivid blue of the sky on the right contrasts with the rainbow and the golden color of the ground.
...You took this from a hill or something, right? Cause it looks like it was shot from somewhere high.

Yeah, my point of view was about 100m above the valley's ground.

Honestly, I'm having hard time deciding which one I like better, but I did notice something about this one. Probably b/c of the more intense saturation, some of the clouds look a little...pixelated. Mostly it's inside of the left side of the arc of the rainbow, and somewhat on the far right side of the picture. Aside from that, though, they're both very lovely, and kind of give off different feelings w/ the different saturations to them. It would be kinda cool to see one where most of the picture is desaturated, while the rainbow's bright, and also another picture vice versa, but that's probably just my personal taste.

Hi!
I think those pixelated structures in the clouds on the left side are an effect of jpeg-compression. They are not visible in the RAW file.
Best regards
