Full view to readI've had a couple of people comment on how I do chibis on my Giant Chibi Project , so I decided to make a tutorial for anyone who wanted to try.
I dont claim that this is the only, or the best way to do chibis. Its just how I do it and it is fun.
Here is part two....big big big. You kind of need to know about layers and opacity in Photoshop for this one.
MATERIALS USED:
Graphire 3 tablet
Photoshop 7

Thanks so much for making this tutorial! I started drawing dragons that were simple, and yet I had a hard time trying to get the angles right. This makes it much easier, and it looks better. I think I might start drawing like this, only adding my little twists onto it.

ive got an easier way to colour, you make a transparent layer over the original image, THEN ink it, then just colour with the the paint bucket, take sme about 5-10 minutes.

Argh... Tryin to draw my dragon charrie... Not workin... I got the body, but the head looks very odd... If only my drawing skills were better..Anyways, this is a great tutorial, it helped a LOT.

ARRRGG!!they are soo adorabubble! but i haven't got a scanner so i'm drawing them on using the graphics tablet but the lines wont stay straight 
But please tell me- how do you do the lines so like perfect?? ^^

I don't know how my lines end up straight....its probably because I'm drawing tiny. And I mean really really tiny, but zooming in really close when I ink. I'm usually terrible with straight lineart, especially on the tablet *all lineart for proper pictures is scribbly pencil lines*
If I was using a tablet to draw the whole thing I would do a sketch first in some random colour and then do the proper lines over that in black. Its usually easier to be neat if you are going over a sketch. You might already be doing that though

Yeah, I did. I suppose you could do it with pen or something, but I'm useless with clean lines and even more useless with pen, so I didn't bother.

It looks like you can just download Photoshop CS (which is better then the one I work on) from it, but I dont know if it works....I think that you can just buy it from any computer stuff store though. No idea how much it costs....I got mine from a friend who had burnt his friend's copy......

~pops in randomly to add~ yeah i downloaded that, and its great. the actual program though, its like $100. it sucks DX but the download is just temporary, its like a 40 day trial thingy. works pretty good though :3
