King Simba used to be very happy normal cub that was loved by his parents, had multiple friends and tried to get along with everyone as best as he could.

One day his uncle murdered his father forcing him to run away.

When he reached adulthood one of his childhood friends found him and asked for his help in other to save the pridelands from Taka Scar's rule.

After defeating his uncle he became the new king and his childhood friend the queen, soon they became incredible rules, who were both fair and kind, they ended up giving life to three beautiful cubs: Kopa, Kiara and Kiongozi.

Unfortunately his new found happiness was disturbed after Kopa went missing the night some lions from his pride that were still loyal to Taka Scar started a coup to dethrone him.

This loss made Simba paranoid about the well being of his other cubs, specially of his little daughter.

The fear of the youngest one hurting his little Kiara just as his uncle did to his father haunted him almost every night and unconsciously made him everyday more distant and cold towards Kiongozi as he grew older,he did his best to hide it and tried to act normally around him, but it didn’t helped when others feared his son as much as he did.
