Description

Taka used to have a height smaller than average and had a weak constitution when he was a cub, which caused other lions to avoid playing with him since he usually slowed them down and thought of him as a burden.

Aside from this, his brother Mufasa usually left him behind since he preferred to play with the other cubs rather that being stuck with him in the den.

This resulted in Taka resenting both his brother and the other pride’s cubs since he felt unloved and as trash, feelings that increased every time Mufasa got sick since as the crown prince he was accompanied by all, while no one except from his mother stood by Taka’s side every time he fell I’ll or got hurt because of his work as leader of the lionguard.

One day when his short self got left behind by the other cubs near the elephant graveyard he met three hyena cubs that soon became his best friends who admired him for who he was and wanted to play with him and wouldn’t leave him behind since they were almost the same size as him.

Taka grew closer to these hyenas but soon found out that his father wouldn’t approve this friendship.

All these and more elements combined caused Taka to become colder, cruel and filled him with hatred transforming him in Scar.
