Because 's awesome, and she turned 2 today.

I can't explain how awesome of a friend you are through words alone, but I can sure try.

I forget the first time
I saw you
(That part of you
at least
that told of adventure
that screamed to the world
of originality
and of interest).

I found you amazing
in every aspect
of the three syllabled word
(The first time I met you
I spoke to your writing)

And then things
progressed
And I found myself awed
(by simple things)
like a fave
and a watch
and a Skype conversation

And I got to know the you
who wrote webs of emotion
on a blank white screen.

Looking back I can see how amazing it's been
And how honored I am
to know you.

Looking back
I can feel the start of a bond
as I hold a five-page rant
close to my heart.

(I carry it around with me
because I treasure it.)

Though front-wards is unknown
(I know)
If you take it one day
one step
at a time

I won't let you stumble.
