Hello SFC Derick S,
I got all of my ribbons from my prior service in the Air Force. I was an interservice applicant for Army OCS and got to keep all my ribbons. I had to go through Army BCT in order to go to OCS. That's the short version of my story. I have just over 6 years TIS now. Thank you for serving, as well! Always a pleasure to speak to a fellow veteran! I hope you had a fantastic new year!

Note: You'll notice below I'm still a SPC and not a 2LT... There's a story to that, that was beyond my control and was in no way related to my performance. The reason I'm still a SPC at 6 years TIS is essentially bad career timing.

Hey shit happens when it's not under your control.. I know from personal experience, lol.. Congrats on OCS and everything you have done.. I got 7yrs left and I'm retiring my ass out lol.. I cant wait... but I have had the best time ever serving my country and meeting other brothers who have served along side me!! good times.. take care and always watch your six!!

Yes, that is absolutely true. Unfortunately for me, some of those things jacked up a lot of my military career ambitions. But, as you said, c'est la vie. Thanks, I got selected for OCS on my first go around. I just wish it would have panned out. No big deal though... I'm doing very well in the private sector.

Best of luck on your last 7 years! Out of curiosity, what is your MOS? And yes, I made some excellent friends from the military! Great times and memories! You take care as well, SFC. Thanks!

Hello there.... My MOS is 11B3V.... Infantry with 3V, is Senior NCO with Ranger school!!! I also been to sniper school, got my master Halo wings, jump master senior wings with 3 combat jumps, and numerous other schools, lol.. take care in the private sector... remember this: we are alone in this sector and we always have to watch our six!!!

Oh hey thats great 2 hear im glad, anyways as 4 me im back 2 being Busy again even though i thought i FINALY graduated from school and i can do what ever the hell i want lol but pretty much i started College and hell its a pain but ive also learn somthin new at least so im happy that it was not a waste and thank u 4 asking

Oh i only graduated 2 months ago and started now this month so im pretty much pursuing the Gaming Industry because i LOVE video games and all lol xD but still lot 2 learn and programs 2 -.- its hard....man

No not yet but they r just teaching us about the basics of Animation as well and the program called 3d max program, which i never used be 4 but it was intresting developement to make a character move and emotes as well with ther expressions which was cool! so anyways sorry im still a beginner man

No prob. Ah, yes. The job hunt. I wish you the best of luck finding a job. Here in the US, the job market is thrashed. I've been looking for a job for over 7 months, and still can't get hired. I got out of the military (sorta), and I need regular civilian employment, but can't get it. It totally sucks! lol Good luck!
