It was an unbelievable encounter. A large group of elephants came up directly to our jeep. I guess this old female was their leader. To stay safe, our driver moved the car to the side and let them pass. Tarangiri national park, Tanzania--------------------------------

Amamazing capture! I like that ist is so close up. If I would mot recognize the shape of the head, nose and ears, I could mistake it for an electron-mircrosopic picture of something mutch smaller.
