Description
After the unsuccessful first attempt to reach the summit of Mount Rainier, my heroic wife and I were descending back to our camp. This is the moment of crossing bergschrund (a huge crevasse which cut across the slope) above the Disappointment Cleaver.------------

I've seen that movie too, and I used the same title intentionally. There was also a gigantic glacier with huge crevasses there!

I'm glad you liked it, Koni! That place was magical, although it was very difficult to apprehend it at the moment, my own miserable physical condition so overwhelmed me, that it required a significant effort to force myself to pull out the camera and take a shot. All thoughts were about a cup of hot tea.
