Hey there, everyone! I’ve been watching a lot of ghost hunting shows while I work on commissions & adopts-it inspired me to make this spooky Sphinx based on the bearded vulture (which does actually exist primarily on a diet of bones ☠️)

One of the more malevolent of the sphinxes, the Bone-Eater is seen as an ill omen. Fearing their ancestors might become its next meal, the populace has created elaborate catacombs To hide their bones, so this Sphinx must scavenge & steal. However, it should be noted that there are rumors of a tribe deep in the mountains who worship the bone-eater as a god of death & rebirth, and are known for offering up their bones as tribute. The bones braided into its gnarled hair speak truths...
