Lotus flowers are often associated with inner peace & meditation. Floating alongside them are lily pads, a tough plant with an interesting appearance. This Sphinx is thought to be the deity of Meditation, and often hides amongst the lily pads under calm ponds, watching the mortal realm. Eons of watching have made them quite empathetic, and can often be seen crying in the evenings.
