how do you accomplish the top portion's motion blur? ive seen this other places and tried working at it. i can't get the flat colors though, it always gives me lines that don't go straight and varying colors.

Very nice combination of vector + raster styles, pulled off with a clinical finish to the piece. You have an interesting composition to draw he viewer's eyes through the piece which is highly effective.
