Description
step one- figure out how tall you want your cat. draw with light strokes that are eazily erased so that if mistakes are made they can eazily be un done. start with the legs and where you want the head.step two- draw lines connecting the legs and head together. these lines help determine if you have a stalky or a thin cat. the one in this image will be of medium build. decide where you want the nose. (will help with eye placement later.)
step three- draw where you'd like the other legs to be in proportion to the ones drawn in step one. decide if you want the ears perked relaxed or back. (you might want to expiriment with this a little.)
step four- decide which lines you want to keep and erase the others. it's ok if you accedently erase lines you want to keep because you can always re-draw the wanted lines.

ah. that comes with the three "p's" practice, preference, and perspective. most drawn cat's heads are bigger than actual cat's heads, it also depends on how you've looking at the cat, what angle? what it's doing, and mostly with preference, how do you want it to look. practice is what most of us need more than anything. personal style also plays a part, being that styles differ.

no it doesn't. it's just undeveloped. practice will help alot. just doodleing helps too. i could do a really good cartoon flower before anything else, but i don't post much of it.
