Freehand in MS Paint? Sure it's rough around the edges, but you have good control and a lot of patience. I peeked at your other work and if you're using a mouse then I'm extra-wowed. The shapes came out well. Her face's, added to the angle of her head, and the thicker ("more thoughtful" maybe) eyelashes give it the more solemn mood. Since (old) MS Paint lines are so rough it's hard to tell whether there's a hint of her closed mouth there, but I like to think so.
Maybe she was looking at the pendant (terrific look there) with her cutie mark and remembering her big dreams of fame and, more importantly, getting to be with her friends. (Just guessing here.) Still, she's wearing that blanket with Celestia's livery on it, making me realize or just wonder that in Alicorn terms she's still "a baby" and perhaps the Princess is keeping her close by now that they're finally a family. I was actually tempted to call it a baby blanket.
She seems a bit older and more alicorn-like here, being bigger and having much more defined wings. The fact that her mane is "powered-up" on at least one side adds to that. The rainbow fluting around her horn is a neat touch, making me think of a full spectrum running from top to bottom. (Well, not FULL as in gamma rays or anything. 
Seeing this when I got home last night really brightened my mood. Thanks for taking the time to make such a sweet tribute to the story. Thank you.

it was a baby blanket. thats why i was thinking and since purple was a color for royaly back in the old days i used it but...i used a pastel purple since the darker one was for her mane. and THANK YOU. i thought i messed up on her face abit.
