Description I used 3 different images to get the correct colouring for Cinderella. I refused to do her dress Blue because i really prefer the grey that was used in the original film, as well as her hair colour i didnt want her hair to be too blonde. The background is a concept peice done for the film by Mary Blair.

Well why do they always market Cinderella in blue, I did have her in a light blue dress in one of my doodles but then I remembered her dress was silver and switched it

I think it's just an easier colour to translate than grey/silver. It makes her POP more in the sea of pink glitter. They've just milked her into a commercial cow really, especially with her platinum blonde hair. I really hope for the eventual blu-ray release they correct it!

They'd better because Aurora around here seems to like blue better than pink, plus Cinderella as you'd expect complains about not having strawberry blond (the original) hair and a silver dress

I have high hopes they go back to the original colouring for the blu-ray. I'm still miffed that they altered it for the DVD release. Aurora is a funny thing with me..... i love her pink dress (seeing it in the content of the film itself is nice and somewhat refreshing) but i hate it elsewhere specifically cos it's EVERYWHERE in the media, and its vice-versa with the blue version too.
