I know of SCA through a friend of mine...he used to play

I play Amtgard...however...I'd rather it that people be more interested in garbing...it's more fun when people are actually in character and costume, ya know?

Thanks - actually it is somewhere in NM, but not Estrella....this was at last year's Spring Crown Tourney. Is it bad that most of NM looks the same to me?

Unfortunately - no - apparently this is the year where everyone I know is getting married, so I will be at another wedding that weekend! I am both bummed and excited - this was going to be my first Lonely Mountain (maybe next year...), but this wedding is going to be a ton of fun. I know both the bride and groom, and they are super-fun people so it should be a good time. Will you be at Lonely Mountain?

Then I wish thee well with the weddings. I'm going to try my damndest to make it to Lonely Mountain. The Pirates are having a planned mutiny this year. New Captain and everything.

Thanks - I'm sure the wedding will be fun, but I'll definitely be wishing I was eventing.
