TRADITIONAL INKING PRACTICE OF ACTUALLY USING A RULER. I hate rulers and I suck with them. Hence why the perspective is totally butchered, when one-point REALLY ISN'T THAT HARD, and ALL OF IT WAS CORRECT WHEN I SKETCHED IT, and I can do it fine digitally. Hence the reason for practicing.
Toning was digital, though.
Even though the execution is iffy, I really like the concept behind this piece /dies

This is good - but at the moment you've got two vanishing points.. (one for the floor & one for the ceiling)... but what you really should have, on this particular drawing, is just one vanishing point. The vanishing point would be in the far distance (obviously) & OPPOSITE where your eyesight is.. (so about a quarter of the way down from the ceiling). Also, a small door at the far end would probably help as well. This would make it more realistic, & it would stop all your lines from converging together at the end of the carriage. Hope all this is understandable ~ Let me know if I haven't explained it properly.

i think the saturation makes it look really nice, you've already mentioned the perspective so i wont say anything but despite that i think this is still a really great and moving piece

This is pretty nice! I like how you put a lot of detail into it!
If it helps, you can get one of the engineer rulers. They make perspective a whole lot easier to do since it has the angles and grid drawn on to them. I think you can find them at art stores.

I did this at school down in the art room, and all they have down there are these intense 20" rulers that are tough to use on small tables for things like this XD;

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. We practically had to work with meter sticks to get our work done. It is such a pain working with giant rulers on a small paper... BV

I really like the black and white style, it looks kind of retro. The perspective is not bad at all, for me as well it's a pain using rulers and getting my perspective right. You did a very good job. (I think perhaps the bench on the left is a tiny bit bigger and higher than the one facing it? You probably noticed it this anyway) I find this drawing very well-done.
