i was asked for a landscape tutorial for many times, so here it is ) i recorded 80 min painting process for youyou can watch it here [link]
this is mostly concept-art-ish way - i'm cheating a lot here for the quick result ))

original size is 1000*600 px (my comp starts to die when i record large resolution painting T_T)

i love this work of you ^^ but i have a question, in yout video i see you use different kind of brushes like a gras brush and stuff ,if you use those brushes instead of a normal paintbrush is it then still a painting?

actually i dont remember.. there are self made and fellow artists' brushes in my set, but not the brushes make a beautiful pic. it's all about your knowledge of color, light, composition etc. custom brushes are for speed only.
anyway you can search some brushes here, on DA

The final product is absolutely amazing. Thats quite the plethora of brushes your using there. Is there a resource site or something i can find some of these? The leaves and grass are my favorite. And did i notice you make your own grass one on the fly? Thats pretty awesome. Great work.

I saw the vid. Is that how fast you USUALLY go? Cause it's unbelievable. I'd take me a good 2 or 3 days to even get an image like this, even if it was speed painting. How the hell did you DO that?
Personally i've been looking for a tutorial in coloring plants and leaves, and i must say that your video was a real help. Thanks a lot.
