I love the lighting in this, particularly the glowing effect on the walls. This has just sparked a idea for my next and final project in my 3D modeling class at UAT. Thanks. By the way I've decided to do a futuristic bath room with similar lighting here. I'll post when I get done this week. Don't know if it will be completely lite up or textured. Ok, so I decided once I started to work on the project to stick to a more contemporary public bathroom look. Though I decided to make it in the middle of a war. So there will be bullet holes in the walls. some lights that look a bit futuristic. but first toilets and sinks, and urinals. How would you make them? I have to use polygons, class instructions. I was thinking simple extruding of edges and faces. add some bump maps or normals and simple shaders. We'll see.

ooo polygons. easier to handle compared to NURBS. my 1st class was using NURBS and it was a torture for me. haha!
hmm. its quite subjective right? but yeah, it could work your way, if you have prepared real good textures

I'll go with Polygons, only because the assignment was to do it polygons. I'm actually quite familiar with both work flows. AS well as SubDs.

The UV lay outs will be easy. Most of what I have Im using flat surfaces. The sinks I'll probably stick a default shader for now. Later .
