VsSketch battle against the talented Tim with my new trainer! I'm pretty sure I ruined this after attempting in that background, oops. Either way good fun, drew it while waiting for shit to render at work and not paying attention in class hohoho. Also took a cue from ~Vhu to incorporate more interactions between the mons, trainers and the environment. Not nearly as pro as hers but it's a start.

But FFFFFFF this splash battle is so action-packed! I cannot imagine how long it took to get all the details down on those planks - the scratch marks, splinters, textures, SO MUCH EYE CANDY.
Teehee, Tim getting hit by that rock is so cute. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT'S CUTER? Broccoli hanging around there like it's no biggy. I want to put her in my pocket and run away. O^O

that is seriously awesome, and i can safely say i have never been terrified of a kangaskhan until this point. goddamn i mean really just LOOK AT THAT THING
the details everywhere are lovely, and the bit of debris hitting tim makes me lol. and i really like the background! it's not cluttered and it removes potentially distracing negative space, so the attention is focused on the battle.

Oh man oh man thanks bro. Yeah some of it is inked and some in pencil, my current scanner has this remarkable ability to not pick up a lot of pencil lines or make them blue and fuzzy so I thought it'd be easier to resketch it in ballpoint. Pencil of the ink world basically~
