This is the start for me to do "Robin Thursdays" each week. There are several folks here on DA doing similar projects with various super-hero types... and I'm joining the band-wagon. Robin was always one of my favorites and continues to be to this day. In fact, the first comic book that I bought years ago featured Robin alongside Bats. So... it was a reprint of Detective Comics #38, but it was the start of my collection.So, in honor of my personal favorite (doesn't matter who is wearing the Robin costume!) I give you the first of many "Robin Thursdays" to come.
I was inspired to participate in this weekly character art project by the following awesome deviants:
- Did a Wolverine Wednesday for 52 weeks straight!
- Doing a Spider-man Thursday
- Doing a Batman Monday
- Doing a Wonder Woman Wednesday

Hmm, I'd like to think that that's Jason, being a big fan of him myself. And he looks like Jason, too. Particularly the hair, and the slightly cocky sort of grin.

Wow! Thanks for the comments! I'm glad that you like it. I'll probably run through all four of the various Robins over time. I have a somewhat humorous spin in the works for next week suggested by a friend of mine. I'll be sure to do a Jason-specific Robin just for you!
To color this I used watercolor, which is my favored medium. I started out with a light pencil sketch. Went in with the watercolors. And then inked over-top of that.
