Hmm... The empty white for the smoke gives this piece an incomplete feeling to me. Also, I can't tell where the woman's teeth are or if she has any. That's kind of distracting when looking at the drawing in full view. Still, I like the Oiran lady herself and the photo placed in the background being submerged in the spring.

I didn't draw her teeth.. when you blow smoke out of your mouth you use your lips not your teeth lol. The white smoke is purposely like that, supposed to be very simple, the only color was supposed to be in the background and what ever was red. Though thanks for the input.

Yes, but isn't it when the lips are puckered up or closer together that the teeth aren't visible? I looked in the mirror and imitated the lady's face, looked at similar photos, and I could see teeth. The Oiran woman's lips are pulling back enough for her teeth to appear slightly.

No you are right. Teeth WOULD be showing. If her mouth would be closed just a tad more you wouldn't be able to, whoops. But! need you also forget, stylistic wonders and traits of femininity and masculinity. Hahaha regardless XD I didn't want to put them in there because her face would be too busy, and with out it her face just looks more soft and her character elegant/feminine. But you are right though.
