This'll probably be the last piece of fan art I do for about a week or two. I'm working on a couple of commissions, but I'll continue to work on some fan art and post them when I can.I've been a huge fan of Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin for a long time so I had to do a piece for that. Plus, Kenshin's beautiful
But yeah, hope you like. Kenshin is done in pen and watercolor and the background is done on Photoshop.

The look in Kenshin's eyes is so intense. On the whole, I'm EXTREMELY impressed with this one; great job hun! ^^
The dynamics are really eye-catching, and the way the blood splatters into an X is very cool. You did a very professional job overall, especially with the hair and the way the clothes are moving.
Last of all are the colors; they really jump out at me, and it makes the picture very pleasant to look at.

However, you do need to work on making the digital background and the watercolor Kenshin blend and work together more. Right now I am really distracted by how different they are.

I hear what you're saying about the background, but I actually kinda like the contrast. I don't know. I might play around with it a little more, but I kind of like it the way it is.
