A monochrome fanart of Raito and L from Deathnote. This picture was actually a doodle, but it made its way into my CG artwork. It's kinda messy since I didn't put too much effort into it, but don't be too harsh on me.

I used Photoshop's natural brushes (again) for this artwork. I wasn't in the mood to add in colour, so it's now black and white. Raito is standing in front, as usual, and in the back it's L. I wanted to do like a contrast thing; like an angel and devil concept, but in the end I was too lazy to do so.

I'm doing a lot of DeathNote-related things nowday... it's an obsession. Haven't heard of DeathNote? Well, here's the description to the manga:

Beyond our world exists one that is home to the Shinigami who are "Gods of Death". Each Shinigami possess a powerful "Death Note", books which can kill any person by the owner simply by focusing on what the target looks like and writing their name down inside. This story is about a Shinigami who left his Death Note on Earth, with instructions on it's use, and the human who found it, Raito. Raito plans on using the Death Note to turn the Earth into a paradise by executing criminals through the Death Note. As Raito's 'Justice' spreads he catches the eyes of authorities and a famous detective known only as "L". "L" wants to track down and stop whomever is commiting these killings. Will "L" find Raito? How far will Raito go to see his vision come to reality?
