Description Dang this character design is beautiful. Takes my breath away! He's so hot in such a chilling way *melts*

This is was created off of Reborn's WOF Hybrid Commissions. Therefore, Reborn made it.  WoF Hybrid Commissions [CLOSED]So I have been planning on making some of templates into Hybrids. I want to do this for future adopts but I have no motivation for it, so why not make it a commission?
Like this -

So here is the idea, I set up a 1000 point / 10$ Commission.

Hybrid - Dominate/Non-Dominate
Colors - It would be nice to have a color idea of what you want, you can send me a link of a pallet from here - https://coolors.co/app
Name - I need a name so I can make you a reference sheet of the character you just bought. Once I give you the reference sheet you can add on objects, scars, tattoo

You select which body type you mainly want it to look like (I picked the Mudwing base) and wanted it crossed with an Icewing so Reborn added some Icewing traits onto the Mudwing base. Then you show her a colour palette you want the design based on. This is the colour palette I found online that I thought was amazing:

I LOVE THESE COLOURS THEY LOOK SO AMAZING!!

Anyway onto Corvid's personality! BTW Corvidaes are a species of bird that include birds like crows, jays, and magpies. I thought they kind of suited the wintery feel of this character. Birds that like to stick around in the winter MOVING ON....

Dragon Name: Corvid
Male
Tribe: MudwingxIcewing hybrid
Family whereabouts are unknown. He is a rogue that was abandoned as a dragonet.
Age: 9 years old
Personality: Corvid is cool and passive. He does not get angry very easily and it takes a lot to get on his nerves. He would prefer to observe a scene rather than get involved in it. His emotions are pretty gradual, but he isn't slow to express his emotions if you can get a bigger reaction out of him. If you are somehow successful in uprooting something out of him, a BIG reaction is what you will get. You have to dig pretty hard for it though so those who are successful in getting a reaction from him will probably get a much bigger reaction than they wanted. Therefore many underestimate him, thinking him too cold and passive to have many feelings whatsoever to begin with. Most will be disappointed with his reactions to begin with, unless they learn how to dig deep to get the reaction they want. This almost needs a mind of sinister planning and observation for those who are eager to get a reaction from him no matter what. Corvid is very intellegent, but he is not all that great at reading other dragons and can be somewhat oblivious. He reads only whatever is thrown out in the open as far as emotions or conversations go and he won't even try to guess what another dragon is thinking. He figures if it was anything important, they would just say it. Corvid likes to spend a lot of time alone, and he is very into the signs of nature. Because he has spent a lot of time alone, he is better at surviving alone than most other dragons. He also has a lot of defense strategies and habits that can keep others from following his tracks. He knows how to live in nature making very little disturbance so that he can easily disappear and no one will know his whereabouts. Although he cannot read other dragons very well, he can usually guess their intentions with whatever they are doing. He might not have the whole story of what's going on but he can get a general sense. This is useful for strategy tactics to staying alive in a battle, and he can use this technique to guess what his opponent is going to do in the future in terms of what their plans would be or what move they would pull in a battle. He often doesn't know the WHY of someone's intentions but he will usually always be able to guess what's going to happen next through observation only. Weaknesses of Corvid are few on the battlefield, although if you can break him emotionally you can break him in every other way too.

Abilities: Corvid can breathe icebreath like most Icewings. His blood is purple, and has some anti-freeze properties, but is not completely anti-freeze like a full Icewing's blood would be. He can last longer in the cold than most other dragons, but even he will eventually get cold and will need some kind of shelter to keep him warm. He can make do with less heat than most other dragons, but he can't last forever. Corvid can gain warm through mud, and he finds that coating himself in caked mud can help give him an extra boost of warmth too. Corvid spent a lot of his time alone in the cold north where he had to learn how to survive. He learned to build igloos using his frostbreath and the snow around him, and how they could keep in heat and serve as insulation. So his frostbreath comes in handy, even if it cannot warm him. In fact, using his ice breath can make his throat cold if he uses it too much so Corvid prefers to use it sparingly. He also knows where to find all the winter critters and knows how to listen to them tunneling deep under the snow so he can find food even when it is very scarce in freezing wastelands. He can survive in almost any environment, however, his anti-freeze blood does not work very well if he gets wet such as if he falls into an ice lake. As a result, Corvid is very careful about not accidentally treading on cracking ice. You could say it's one of his biggest fears because of a near-death experience resulting in him almost freezing to death when he fell into a hidden frozen lake when the ice broke underneath him. He was barely able to survive the night and keep himself warm enough to face another day and is now deathly afraid of water. Water in all forms actually, used to living in the cold north, water is nothing but trouble for him because it steals his body temperature. Therefore, Corvid avoids water at all costs.

Chemistry with other dragons: Although he keeps to himself a lot, Waterlily finds favour with him. Although Waterlily originally had a small returning crush on Seaswallow the Seawing, once she meets Corvid in the ice kingdom she starts gushing over him instead. Corvid seems oblivious to this at first however and Waterlily is eager to get his attention/his reactions one way or another. She usually comes away quite disappointed however because he seems so cold or distant. Seaswallow instantly has a huge hatred of Corvid for stealing his crush's affection, and is also jealous that he is the only one out of all his friends that is NOT a hybrid. Seaswallow tries unsuccessfully time and time again to pick a fight with Corvid or get on his nerves in passive aggressive ways and when those do not work, he finally lashes out outright. Still this proves unsuccessful because of Corvid's patience/tolerance level. Seaswallow sinks into a bitter state where he withdraws and closes down, but keeps a sharp bitter eye on Corvid in order to study him for weaknesses. When he finds out that Corvid CAN be provoked, he's both impressed and shocked after seeing someone else provoke him to outburst. Instantly Seaswallow tries to develop clever evil little schemes to get on Corvid's nerves. Seaswallow fails a lot more times before he is successful however, but it results in a complete breakdown on Corvid's part. After witnessing it, Waterlily accuses Seaswallow of being a terrible dragon because of his jealousy  and sides with Corvid to make him feel better, along with Iceblink who has always found Seaswallow annoying and, feeling outnumbered and excluded, Seaswallow decides to return to the Kingdom of the Sea, thinking his friends are better off without him and that they'll hate him forever.

However after doing some thinking, Iceblink realizes just how great her sister's feelings are for Corvid and this causes her to be afraid of losing her sister to the Ice Kingdom where their father came from. Since Iceblink loves the Kingdom of the Sea, she doesn't want her sister to be separated from her. Therefore, she goes to fetch Seaswallow and lies to him that Corvid is deliberately brainwashing Waterlily to keep her in the Ice Kingdom. Together therefore, Seaswallow and Iceblink scheme on how to separate the two.

Any personal possessions they hang on to: None
Friends: Iceblink, Waterlily, and sometimes, occasionally, Seaswallow
Love/Crush: He has a soft spot for Waterlily but it's unknown for most of the story as to whether or not he likes her nearly as much as she likes him back.

I'm excited to insert this chap into my story ^^

Glints of silver caught the early morning sunlight filtering from an overcast sky as a pale white-blue dragonet admired the shells that lined the beach. They flickered colours between anemone pink and aurora green with flecks of gold scattered like rain. Some wound in swirls while others held seams and grooves, others were rough like claws and still others were so flat and thin it was as if nothing had ever lived inside.
The dragonet picked up a matte white disc that looked like a token and flipped it over in her claws. The top held a rounded star pattern, dotted with holes, while the bottom had a bigger hole where a tiny sea creature had once fitted inside. She knew this one was empty. They were all empty in fact. Usually only empty shells made it to the beach, and many lay scattered in shards where they had been catapulted by the tide into the harsh rocks lining the shore. But this beach…this beach was her special beach. This was where all the unharmed shells showed

Woah I've barely seen any Mudwing hybrids before, especially an Ice/Mud! I love his design! I actually have a character called Corvid too, Corvids are a really neat species of bird, they're smart too.

Thanks! I've seen a few here and there, though there aren't as many for sure.  Oh that's cool. Yeah, the jays are especially my favourite. Especially bluejays and Canadajays, they're so adorable

I love bluejays! They're super mean where I am though xD.
Personally I love magpies and crows, they're both super smart, they can talk to each other, parents teach their young lessons, they can identify themselves in mirrors, and make tools (bending wire to make hooks), etc.

Corvids are great

Agreed. I was watching a documentary on crows and how smart they are. They set up a bunch of tricks for them to get food, including creating puzzles and dropping the right shapes into the right shaped holes. They displayed the intelligence of a human toddler
