Here's a fanfic OC of Iceblink, my IcewingxSeawing hybrid. She has like 2% rainwing but the only rainwing qualities she got was her horn and the flaps on her ears. She can speak Aquatic, her scales glow white when she speaks Aquatic. She can breathe frostbreath but not underwater (she learned that the hard way after a near death experience with having it freeze stick to her throat and almost drowning her).

She doesn't know anything about her father other than his name. He had a fling with a SeaWing in the summer palace and that resulted in Iceblink being born and was never seen again.

Father's name: Phenikite
Mother's name: Seahorse

Her mother has an infamous reputation of flirting with dragons of every species whenever she comes across them, often in results of hybrids being born of many kinds. Iceblink is just one of them.

In Iceblink's world, hybrids are normal now that the war is over and all dragons are at peace. This results in many tribes mixing and falling in love and resulting in hybrids. Although hybrids aren't uncommon, they do present a problem to the different tribes of purebreds. For example, they wonder if the hybrids have an advantage over all the purebreds because of the mixes of advantages they get from different dragon parents. As a result many of the tribes have come together to discuss what to do with the hybrids and this growing fear that hybrids could have advantages and perhaps team up one day and start another world war to acquire more land and treasure for themselves as their own tribe. At the rate hybrids are being born, there would certainly eventually be enough to perhaps take over the world.

As usual the Nightwings vote to do tests on the hybrids to see exactly how much more of an advantage they have, while, knowing what that feels like, the Rainwings vote no. It becomes a controversial issue between all the tribes and some of it is done in secret within each tribe with the handful of hybrids they know. As a result, special "hybrid schools" are created in secret, with each tribe that voted yes to the tests/experiments performing them.

Iceblink's story starts in one of these hybrid schools.
