Description
For the 6 fanart challengeI love Sisu, she's like an old homeless lady.
Anyway, the movie had some of the worst morals I've ever seen in a children's movie, but I love Sisu's character.
Like the classic "It's not just my fault, it's your fault too, even though I'M the one who has been CONSTANTLY your enemy this whole time no matter how many times you extended a hand, and I was LITERALLY PULLING THE TRIGGER when you judged (rightly) that I was not to be trusted after all!" Sorry but in that case Sisu was deathly wrong; she paid for it too. That arrow would have hit her whether or not Raya struck because what's her face was already halfway through pulling the trigger for absolutely no reason. Then she blames everyone but herself and refuses to take responsibility for killing a god. She's been the bad guy the entire time and is still pulling triggers at Sisu, like why WOULD you trust her?! She's been thrown a second chance multiple times and is still hell bent so this child's movie moral is horrible. It's the kind of thing that sends a message that no matter how many times you trust someone and how many times they downright abuse you, you should still keep lending out a trusting hand. This show draws no boundaries between second chances at all, and teaches kids that abusive relationships of any kind should be offered a second chance over and over again. I would personally not let my kid watch this movie due to these themes and lack of boundaries and clear judgement on the character's behalf until they were old enough to have already learned that these types of relationships are toxic and know how to set boundaries on them. Also the whole victim mentality and how it's "everyone's fault, everyone shares the blame" even though it was one person constantly pulling the trigger was also a toxic moral to kids too. Raya trusted that girl more than one time and got backstabbed more than once. She was in the right to have decided that that girl was no longer trustworthy. The girl who shot Sisu instantly shifts the blame onto Raya as if she were just as much to blame as the person who actually pulled the trigger. Even though it was clear from the beginning that Raya had done nothing but try to protect Sisu from someone who had backstabbed her multiple times. Please! I don't know what the authors were thinking when they wrote this total lack of moral in a kid's show but it's not okay! Therefore I rate it the worst children's movie I've ever seen of all time.
Despite that I still really like Sisu as a character. But the themes and morals present in the movie are not appropriate for kids, or in my opinion, any audience whatsoever.
