Free base found here:Snow Powder and Forrest are wolves found in a novel I wrote when I was 12. Snow Powder was originally a lone wolf living by herself on Snow Powder Mountain, the mountain in which she was named. But one day an "intruder" showed up. Snow Powder repeatively tried to drive him out but he was stronger than her. They decide if you can't beat them, join them basically after he overpowers her and they eventually become mates. They have pups together-which are all killed by the humans that are mining the gold because Snow Powder was known for being a manslayer and so the humans tried to eradicate her family. Only her and Forrest survive in the end.
The only description Forest ever received was that he was "a brown wolf." When you look up "brown wolves" on the internet they're very dark brown, almost black, with black markings. They look really cool so I finally gave Forest a design.

It starts out sad but in the end the humans set up a wildlife sanctuary where wolves can live in peace without being hunted. Snow Powder ends up having more pups and leading a pack of wolves in the end

Okay that's all well, But, They killed the baby wolves 
you were six when you wrote this story right? Why does it have to be so sad!?
I mean now that I think about it all the stories I write evolve death and sadness.

Haha. Well The Sight was my favorite book as a child and it is a very dark and disturbing and sad story about wolves, and some other books I loved as a child like Fire Bringer and Water ship Down. All of them animal stories where lots of main characters die very gruesome deaths. So they all probably influenced my story ideas.

Yeah Water ship Down is a pretty gruesome book, I used to listen to it before I went to sleep at night.

Cool! I'm working on a story about my own wolf OC, Little, at the moment. In the story, she accidentally messes up a major festival, has to leave her pack, and she must travel around to settle down somewhere... or die trying.

They have a big bonfire, a magic show from a few travelling magicians (they are VERY important in the story)
