Wow I had almost forgotten about this one. This is an old drawing from back when I played the City of Heroes game. Myself my sister and my best friend all made a bunch of characters. Among those were our Dutch theme heroes. Cause you know, we're Dutch.You see a lot of these types of heroes. Captain America being the most well known. then theres Captain Brittain. Statesman. Lady Liberty. etcetera.
Dutch Destroyer. A Super Strength - Invulnerability Tanker. Male
Dutch Defender. A Martial Arts - Super Reflexes Scrapper. Female
Dutch Dynamo. A Umbral Blast - Umbral Aura Warshade ( special class ) Female.
We had a lot of fun with those. Sadly Dynamo isn't in this picture, but she and Defender looked a lot alike.

They look like a super cool team. ^^ It's unfortunate I never got to play CoH before it was gone. It inspired so many super heroes for so many people, and I would've loved to recreate some of my own heroes and villains in the game. I don't know why it disappeared when it did, but I really wish something like it would come along. You sure put a lot of detail into their muscles in those skin tight suits. X3

Honestly I don't know why the developer decided to can the game. Its true the graphics and engine were getting a bit dated, but the fanbase was strong. Heck the players begged them not to shut down. they petitioned them, even going so far as to pool resources to try to buy the game rights, IP and everything else so they could continue to host it under a 3rd party. but alas it wasn't ment to be.

Well, we can always have fun with our own super heroes and villains with each other.

there is Champions online. But i find that the available superpowers in that game are a rather lame selection. CoH had way more fun powers. It does have an excellent character creator.
The other mentionable one is DC universe Online. Its alright as far as games go but its very limited in its power choices.
Other than those theres really nothing out there. Every marvel superhero games focuses on their characters rather than letting you make your own. so those dont count. not to mention they are boring as all hell IMO -_-
