What is it, fish on a bed of lettuce, corn, and peppers? Gotta try to cook that for myself (even though I'm a bad cook) looks mouth-watering!
I like the background colors, too, complement the dish.

such great texture of the food. this is mouthwatering...

but the black borders of the pic does draw away from the colors of the dish...

---with that red knitted something used as background it seems like some sailor dish, yet i don't think it was the very best choise to use it's somehow rival to the colors of the food...otherwise the meal looks yummy and it's great idea: i should make fish tomorrow (thanx i didn't have an idea what to cook )
ohh and one more advice: take care with the cutting of the photo... in the foreground that you cut right where the plate starts it's a bit bothering..it leads the eye out of the image and not into the image to make us concentrate on your dish---
