Hmmm....I tried, but couldn't really get those rays to "pop" out more...even post-processing in photoshop didn't help

But I like how it came out

Oh it's a real beautiful pic I wish I could work so well with 3D...My last attempt in 3DStudio was a disaster - I tried to make a table and simply couldn't put the fourth leg in the right position

I suck at 3d modelling too...but stuff with bryce and terragen come out pretty decent.

Do they need a lot of memory to work? My comp is not bad but even Photoshop starts behaving odd after working too long with big files... (OK, I have the bad habit of keeping WMP+IE+Dictionary open at the same time, but still... )

hehe....not really, but even if your computing power is slow, it'll still render...at least it won't hang, but might take quite sometime to render completely, especially bryce. Better start off with terragen since its free and easy to start off with....try it out, its just a 2 mb download from [link]
