too lazy for a creative title =.= Meep school is starting is I wanted to draw some more before things heat up. XDenjoy the art. XD I know the foliage is lacking lots of detail but I am tired. I was looking at a child blowing bubbles today and inspecting them was lots of fun. So I drew some XD. I know I'm such a child. XP. I really messed up the lighting HALPPP ME.

Lacking details?! My friend, this drawing could easily pass as a commission!!!
From the cherries and roses to eyes and water, all looks outstanding. The bubbles in this garden provide a magical touch to it, I feel Fluttershy actually lives near Kokiri Forest with all the fairies and magical beings as well. Her mane does looks like real pony hair, her smile is a little hard to notice without being on the right spot, but once you see it then all the hard work makes it worthwhile. Even the reflection on the calm water behind her looks realistic too, I can not take my sight from away from the red cherries for they look so well done I can not make them justice. Needless to say, this drawing portrays one of the happiest moments in the life of Fluttershy, excellent job!!!

In a previous critique, I mentioned that this artist has a unique way with lighting and getting her best works to really shine. But I also believe that I warned them not to let it distract from the rest of the image. I can't help but find the sunlight shine a bit to overzealous on the artists behalf.
Now I understand that telling this artist that her work is too shiny would be like telling Mozart that his symphony has too many notes in it, but that's not exactly where my concern lies. My biggest criticism lies with how the quality seems to drop in the density of the bright light. The artist mentioned that some of her foliage may have been lacking in quality or detail, but direct your attention to where the light is coming from, the top right. Whereas the foliage (not to mention the lake behind her) would have made a nice canvas for the incredible detail given to Fluttershy's design, to the left we have what appear to be several blots of white out. It can't be easy to use whites against a bright glare, but that little archway seems rushed and sloppy. I also would have liked a little more time spent on the fence. The foliage, water, and bubbles, all look great as far as I'm concerned.
In fact, I really ought to say that much like most of your artwork, the colors and shades all look stunning. I still can't get over how you did her hair and how beautiful you can make the eyes. All in all, it is a very beautiful piece. There were but a couple little things that caught my attention and brought the overall quality down just a little.
On one final note, and I really don't want to sound like an ass,
but bright lights and glares shouldn't be used to cover up or hide detail, they should accentuate them.

"Nice work and great attention to detail."
One of the first things I though of. The work definately has impact (stood out straight away). Love how you managed the lights on the bubbles.
I would say one of the best things about this work is the "fun" feel I get from it. (Bubbles at the park?) A cheerful and uplifting piece of work. I just can't get away from the light management. The reflections from the pond and bubbles are well done. Though you said that there was a lack of detail on the background/foliage I feel that you did a good job in the background.
Some things I think you could improve on would be the basic shapes of Fluttershy. I'm not sure if it is apart of your art style but the ears and eye shapes seemed a bit off. I was intially bugged by the nose shape but I got used to it.
Overall a very good piece of work.

Oh my gosh, I just love her hair! <3 It's so detailed and beautiful. I like the bubbles a lot, too. I do think there could be more detail in the background, it is kind of underwhelming (especially compared to the way Fluttershy is drawn!), but this is still great overall.

The hair is AmazingΒ
the colors are amazing.
Β I love the bubbles. the mood is great. and the anatomy it pretty much spot on.Β
The few problems that i do see is that the fence seems very 2-D and the feathers seem a bit off.
I don't think the lighting is bad just a bit bit crazy in fact I kinda like it.
Please keep up the great art work! I love it!

This is very realistic! I love the background that you put her in, along with the bubbles floating by. I also admire her flowing hair and beautiful wings. There's nothing wrong with your lighting, but the shading on Fluttershy here makes her look quite pink in a way. That's about my only complaint with this. Other than that, this artwork is wonderful.
