tumblr I did this last month and didn't upload it, but today I was going through a bunch of this year's sketches and unfinished work and ran across this, and it looked too finished to lump in with the rest, so I'm posting it.

Very cool! I love bright colors. Yellow can be overwhelming, but you did a good job balancing it out with the green grass and blue-ish clothing. This is very striking.

My main problem is that I don't like to show things until they're finished, and I keep planning to finish a lot of those sketches someday, so that keeps me from posting them.

Oooh, lovely! The color scheme is utterly breathtaking, I love that magnificent sunny orange paired with the green grass and the aquamarine of Lucius's robes.

Thanks, I'm really glad you like the colors! One of the things that was keeping me from posting this right away (in addition to a couple others which I tweaked before uploading) was that I felt like the colors could've been harmonized more, but in the end I just posted it like this. It's nice to hear it still works.
