Not a couple

This is just an idea I had on how Jinx might feel after joining the Teen Titans

Jinx had gone to the top of the Titans tower; she almost could not believe that she was standing on Titans tower with the titans knowing. Taking a set on the edge of the tower Jinx looked out in to the open evening sky. The sun was starting to set over the ocean, and even though there was no wind it was still cool out. Jinx had begun to like the hero life there was no running, but the Titans weren’t all friends to her. Jinx had kind of expected that but it still made her feel out of place.

Jinx stayed up on Titans tower for almost half an hour, she liked the peace and quiet. With kid flash around she did not get the peace and quiet so often. Jinx had been in a transfixed gaze watching the waves and the sun that she had not heard anyone come up the stairs. Jinx did not realize anyone was up on the roof with her until she caught someone out of the corner of her eye sit down next to her.

“Hay you ok?” Jinx recognized the voce it was Bumblebee, but she had not expected her to be the first to come up the stairs. They had never been friends back in the Hive Academy they had been more arch ravels, but it was different now. Bumblebee was on top now; she ran a team and had four teammates. Bumblebee was a power house and to top them all she was always good there was not reason no to trust her.

“I am ok. Is Kid Flash looking for me?” Jinx asked coldly,

Bumblebee looked at Jinx who was still facing the ocean “No, not yet”

Jinx had not turned to face Bumblebee, but she was confused. Why had Bumblebee come and found her, why was she sitting here when she wasn’t looking for her for Kid Flash. “Why are you up here then?”

“I come to see how you are doing.” Bumblebee said and then stopped she waited to see how Jinx would respond, when Jinx did not Bumblebee continued. “You said you where ok, but I know you are not ok. You have gone from running all the time to a place where you can come back to without thinking that the police or the Titans will come and take you to jail. I was in the Hive Academy for a long time and I know that you don’t make friends there, friends that will back you up. You have gone through a lot in the last couple of days. Look I know we weren’t friends before, but if you would like I would love to be your friend now.”

Jinx could not believe what she had just heard come from Bumblebee, but in every word Bumblebee said she had been right. Jinx was just trying to get use to things again with the whole part of being good that was enough in itself, but friends that was something that Jinx knew she did not need to get used to because she knew she already liked it. Jinx finely looked at Bumblebee “Me two,” Jinx gave a small smile “Thank you.”
