It was a hot and sunny day at Camp Half-Blood, and the tension between two friends in the Aphrodite cabin was almost unbearable. Rosie took a deep breath and stroked her long, silky braid one last time. Kyla looked at her and sighed a long, over-dramatic sigh.

"Are you sure you really want to do this, Rosie? You've had long hair all your life, and this is a big change." Kyla said, snipping the air with her pink safety scissors and shifting her weight.

"Oh yeah? Almost as big as me being a DEMIGOD? A daughter of ATHENA, no less?" Rosie huffed, looking up at Kyla from Piper's vanity chair and furrowing her eyebrows. "This is a big change, and i figured it would be good to start afresh, a new hairstyle for a new life."

"Sure, well here we go...", Kyla said, slightly grabbing Rosie's braid and opening the scissors. Rosie tensed up, closing her eyes violently and clenching her fists. The scissors reached the top knot of her braid. Kyla took a deep breath. snip.

hahahaha little drabble to go with the picture...
There's a couple reasons to why i cut her hair:
1. She looked too much like Katniss. FAYULL....
2. I got tired of drawing that damn braid all the time.
