Description
An updated version of Sayuri’s profile. Only non completed section is her Metal Masters bio since stuff with her team is still being figured out. I’m also going to be linking her other season outfits into her profile once I get them finished.

Prankshipping Backstory: Sayuri & Souta met when Sayuri was 14 & Souta was 13 thanks to their older sisters being best friends. At first Sayuri wasn't to sure about Souta due to the amount of pranks he pulled but eventually realized that pranking people was something they had in common. During the first few months after they met they took time to get to know each other & they also pulled some pranks on their siblings. Sayuri started to form a crush on Souta not long after she turned 15 due to how much they had come to know each other however she didn't start falling in love with him completely until they started going to school after the events with the Legendary Bladers & Nemesis. By time the events with the Brigade of the Unseen starts they're together.

Backstory:
- Fight/Fusion: Sayuri is the middle sibling out of her, Naoko, & Marina & she also left Draconian Village sooner than her sisters since she wanted to travel around the world & see what it had to offer. While traveling around the world Sayuri went against a lot of strong bladers. Sayuri arrived in Metal Bey City not long after the incidents with Dark Nebula started & watched from the sidelines as her sisters & their friends aimed to take down Dark Nebula. She didn't get involved with the events concerning Dark Nebula until after two of the groups members sent her sister Naoko to the hospital after beating her in a bey battle. While on the hunt for the two Dark Nebula bladers that took down her sister Naoko, Sayuri decided to team up with Gingka & his friends to have better luck finding the two Dark Nebula bladers that hurt Naoko. During the Battle Bladers tournament Sayuri only watched the tournament from the bleachers of the bey stadium since she wasn't able to get enough points to participate. Once the Battle Bladers tournament was over & everything with Dark Nebula stopped, Sayuri started to improve her beyblading skills so she would be ready to compete if another tournament started.
- Metal Masters: At the beginning of the year after Battle Bladers, Sayuri was back in Draconian Village helping her father Takeshi & her mother Ailsa with improvements to their house. During her free time in the village she goes up to the three shrines that belong to the three bey spirits owned by her & her sisters so she can thank them for everything they've done for her family. When Sayuri heard about the World Championship Tournament qualifiers that were going on to determine representatives for teams to go to the World Championship Tournament, she immediately jumped at the chance to try & get on a team. At one of the qualifiers for the World Championship, Sayuri got on a team with her friends Michiko Ito, Nagori Ito, Amaya Kurostume, & Carla Star to represent a country that didn't have a team representing them yet.
- 4D/Fury: After the World Championship ended Sayuri returned home once again to work on a new version of her Blaze Monarus bey. However she was interrupted with that when she saw the meteor that was suppose to fly by Earth suddenly disappear & shooting stars showed up in the sky. She had a bad feeling that something was going to happen & it wasn’t going to be good. And her bad feeling was proven right when the events with the Legendary Bladers & Nemesis started. Due to not being sure about the whole situation with Nemesis, Sayuri rejoined Gingka & his friends on their quest to gather all the Legendary Bladers & stop Nemesis from reviving. Sayuri didn’t understand what the complete connection between the meteor that became the star fragments & Nemesis were since what she & the others had been told didn’t fully make sense. She wondered if there was more to the star fragments & Nemesis then what they were told. During the final fight against Rago, Sayuri watched from the sidelines hoping her friends could save the world.
- MFB: School Mania: A year after the events with the Legendary Bladers & Nemesis, Sayuri is going to school with her sisters & some of their friends. Sayuri found it weird to go from the pace they had always been at to one that was completely different & much slower but she was happy that they didn’t have to constantly worry about stopping some evil organization. During school Sayuri showed a lot of interest in the mechanics of beys especially the designs of fusion wheels. When she finished school she started to draw up fusion wheel concepts & eventually helped her older sister Marina start Sodo Development.
Epilogue:
- Crimson Blood: At the age of 22, Sayuri is working with her sisters at Sodo Development in Japan coming up with concept designs for the crimson beyblades the company creates. When the events with the Brigade of the Unseen started Sayuri was really worried about the young bladers that now had to face the new evil organization. All throughout the time that the Brigade of the Unseen was a threat she was in constant contact with Madoka so she could help the young bladers going against the Brigade of the Unseen so they could have new parts for their beys.
- Zero G/Shogun Steel: During Zero-G, Sayuri starts to observe the second generation of bladers closely & collects data from the remaining crimson beys to see how they are preforming against the other beys. However she becomes slightly concerned when DNA appears due to the heads of the organization were the Garcias & she remembered how they were during the World Championship when they were younger. But she also knew that Zero & them would stop DNA before any harm could be done.
- Melodious Eclipse: At the age of 30, Sayuri is still working for Sodo Development as the head designer for beyblades & extra parts for the crimson beyblades. However when she learned from Chiharu that strange things were happening with the owners of the crimson beys due to an unnatural lunar eclipse greatly concerned her but she knew that while she searched for a way to save the crimson bey users she’d have to trust Chiharu & them to stop Erza & the others.

Sayuri (小百合) is a Japanese name meaning "lily". However! The name is formed from 小 (sa), meaning "small", and 百合 (yuri), meaning "lily". Thus it can be better read as "small lily". It's pronounced either as "sai-you-ree" or "sah-you-ree". I'm not sure which though. This name can also be composed of other kanji combinations, though I'm not sure which.
Rei (1-鈴, 2-零, 3-麗, 4-霊) is a Japanese name meaning: 1) "bell," 2) "nothing, zero" or 3) "lovely," 4) "spirit", depending on the kanji used. Ka...I'm not sure about. I know "Ko" (子) means child. From what I gather ka, as a name ending, could mean either "flower" (花) or "fragrance" (香), depending, again, on the kanji that is used.
But I know you probably don't mean 零 ("nothing, zero")

Ah! Ito! I forgot about that one!
Now, if my research is correct, then it's a surname. It's formed by the kanji 伊藤: 伊 (i), meaning "this" and 藤 (tou), meaning "wisteria". Thus it can be read as "this wisteria". Note: The final character just might indicate a connection of some kind to the Fujiwara Clan (which was a real family...clan).
Ito is a surname, with no doubt, while Reika...strikes me more as first name usage. Along the lines of a given name for females.
So is her name "Sayuri Reika-Ito" or...is Reika a middle name?
In Japan, they do not use middle names. Only their first name and last name. In Japan, the last name goes first and their first name goes after.

Aqua! "Reika" doesn't mean "flower". Depending on the kanji used, "Re" could mean "bell" [鈴], "nothing, zero" [ 零], "lovely"[麗], or "spirit" [霊].
"Ka" as I've told you means, as an ending, either ""flower" (花) or "fragrance" (香)".
So Reika has a variety of meanings:
